Bay Path RVT came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the North Polar Bears 3-0. While the Minutemen didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-2. As for North, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Bay Path RVT and North Middlesex Regional will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fitchburg at 5:15 p.m. on the 29th.
