The Trinity Collegiate Titans gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 74-27 victory over Palmetto Christian Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Trinity Collegiate also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2018.
Trinity Collegiate got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Wilson out in front who scored 11 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals. Jy?ell Preston was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Trinity Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Collegiate will square off against Northwood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Palmetto Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Christian Academy at 7:45 p.m. on December 1st.
