The Ypsilanti Grizzlies lost against the Tecumseh Indians back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ypsilanti was outmatched by Tecumseh on the road and fell 75-35. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ypsilanti in their matchups with Tecumseh: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the defeat, Ypsilanti had strong showings from Rochelle Robinson, who scored 11 points, and Mia Jemsion, who scored four points.
Ypsilanti has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Tecumseh, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ypsilanti is on the road again on Friday and plays Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. As for Tecumseh, they will square off against Pinckney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tecumseh's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
