Wood Memorial has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Barr-Reeve Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barr-Reeve took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Wood Memorial, who comes in off a win.
Wood Memorial has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Washington Catholic, posting a 67-3 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, Barr-Reeve ended up a good deal behind Vincennes Rivet on Saturday and lost 35-20.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Hannah Bledsoe, who scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds. She scored a full 35% of Barr-Reeve's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ava B Carter was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 6 rebounds.
Wood Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Barr-Reeve, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Wood Memorial strolled past Barr-Reeve in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 46-32. Will Wood Memorial repeat their success, or does Barr-Reeve have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
