Old Plank Christian Academy took a serious blow against Eagle's View on Friday, falling 73-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Old Plank Christian Academy has scored all season.
Eagle's View can attribute much of their success to Gary Deleon-Rivera, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Jayden Williams was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Old Plank Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Eagle's View, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Old Plank Christian Academy and Keystone Heights will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Keystone Heights has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 268 points over their last four contests. As for Eagle's View, they will head out on the road to face off against West Nassau at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for West Nassau: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Eagle's View has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
