Rock Hill came out on top against Boyd by a score of 28-17. Given Rock Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 166th, while Boyd is ranked 447th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rock Hill was led to victory by Jaylon Brown-Delgado and Christian Lewis. Brown-Delgado rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown, while Lewis rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Lewis was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards.
Rock Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Boyd, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 1-9 record.
Rock Hill will take on Guyer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boyd, they will head out on the road to face off against Braswell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
