The Bulloch Academy Gators put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They strolled past Frederica Academy with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. This was payback for Bulloch Academy, who suffered a 42-20 loss the last time these two teams met.
Bulloch Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ben Aaron, who rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Danye Garvin also helped out as he racked up 116 rushing yards.
Bulloch Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Savannah and 1-6-1 Tiftarea Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 30.7% over those games). The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Pinewood Christian is ranked 317th, while Frederica Academy is ranked 315th).
