If The Hemlock Huskies were feeling good off their 37-6 takedown of the St. Louis Sharks last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hemlock received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 40-21 to Meridian. Hemlock has struggled against Meridian recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Hemlock still got an impressive performance from Chad Brown, who rushed for 138 yards, and also threw for 159 yards and a touchdown.
Hemlock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Meridian, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Hemlock will face off against Beaverton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
