The Reed Raiders will be playing at home against the Galena Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reed has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 449 points over their last six games.
Reed only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 37-point they dealt the Senators on Tuesday. Reed claimed a resounding 72-35 win over the Senators at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-24.
Reed's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tj Coulter, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Coulter has scored at least a third of Reed's points. Giosue Gaeta was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with four steals.
Galena can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Carson with a 52-47 win.
Reed is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Galena, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-12.
Everything came up roses for Reed against the Grizzlies in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 70-42 victory. Does Reed have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
