Orosi fell to Farmersville 61-28 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Orange Cove made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,205 from 14,342. The improvement was largely due to a 41-12 victory over McFarland last week.
Sam Metcalf threw for 189 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 15-25 with 1 interception.
Metcalf put up the best numbers in passing as the Aztecs beat the Cardinals. Metcalf's favorite target this week was Joseph DeLaCruz, who caught 4 passes for 56 yards.
Farmersville's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Aztecs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Metcalf has thrown for 3,021 yards and 44 touchdowns this season, while DeLaCruz has 57 catches for 1,019 yards.
As it stands, the Titans are in fourth, while Laton is in second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Orange Cove takes on the Mustangs. Emilio botello's team has allowed 297 points this season, while Laton has given up 266. The Titans allowed 12 points last week as they topped the Cougars.
Farmersville led East Sierra in scoring this week by notching 61 points on Orosi. Metcalf ran for 35 yards during the win.
