Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Westerville South blew the Pacers out of the water with a 71-34 final score. Given Westerville South's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Pacers are ranked 565th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Westerville South found their leader in underclassman Ariyana Cradle, who scored 20 points along with two steals and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Cradle posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Cirrye White, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Canal Winchester can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 61-27 victory over Westerville North.
Westerville South is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Canal Winchester, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
