The Daleville Broncos struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Delta Eagles had 1400% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Daleville was outmatched by Delta on the road and fell 76-35. Daleville has struggled against Delta recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Daleville still got an impressive performance from Koleman Newsome, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds.
Delta got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was D'Amare Hood out in front who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Wors, who scored 14 points.
Daleville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Delta, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Daleville will be playing at home against Monroe Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Delta, they will head out on the road to face off against Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Centerville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
