Sheldon won the last time they faced Willamette and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Irish walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Wolverines.

Sheldon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Willamette, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheldon will face off against South Medford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last four games the Panthers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
