After a string of six wins, the Christian Home Educators Knights's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell just short of Excel Christian Academy by a score of  56-53. Christian Home Educators was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  last Monday.
  Caleb Oglesby and  Caleb Koster certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.  Oglesby  scored ten points, while  Koster  scored nine points. Oglesby continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Julian Alvarez, who  scored eight points.
 Christian Home Educators' defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-14. As for Excel Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
 Christian Home Educators will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the Chargers at 7:00  p.m. East Texas Homeschool Sports presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Knights in Texas (the Chargers are ranked 714th, while the Knights are ranked 1564th). As for Excel Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to  challenge  the Warriors at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Trinity Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 230 points over their last three games.
