The Sacred Heart Gremlins will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Lincoln Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. Sacred Heart is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
Sacred Heart scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They snuck past Otterville with a 30-25 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Sacred Heart has managed all season.
Lincoln lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They were outmatched by Tipton at home and fell 69-25. Lincoln was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.
Sacred Heart's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-13. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.
Everything came up roses for Sacred Heart against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in December of 2019 as the squad secured a 53-19 victory. Does Sacred Heart have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lincoln turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
