Volleyball Recap: Paige Smith's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rich over Little Snake River

Rich lost against Little Snake River on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rebels fell 3-1 to the Rattlers. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rich lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Paige Smith, who had 44 digs. Smith is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tess Cornia, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Rich now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Little Snake River, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Rich has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against St. Joseph on the 4th. As for Little Snake River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lyman on the 30th.
