Windham hadn't done well against Waterford recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Everything went the Windham Whippets' way against the Waterford Lancers as the Windham Whippets made off with a 52-30 victory. The Whippets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Windham's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaida Green, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Green is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played. Zoee Robins was another key player, going 7 for 13 en route to 17 points in addition to seven steals and six assists.

Windham smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Windham's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Waterford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Classical Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Windham is facing Classical Magnet at the right time seeing as Classical Magnet is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Waterford, they will face off against Killingly at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
