 Cambridge Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brett Kania, who rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Kania's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118  rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Brandon Hoover, who gained 119 total yards and a touchdown.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Cambridge Springs was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 344  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.

 Meanwhile, Maplewood fell victim to Saegertown and their airtight defense  on Thursday. They lost  23-0 to the Panthers. It was the first time  this season that the Tigers let down their fans at home.
 Cambridge Springs' win was  their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Maplewood, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 3-4.
 Everything came up roses for Cambridge Springs against Maplewood when the teams last played  back in November of 2023, as the  squad secured  a  42-8 victory. Will Cambridge Springs repeat their success,  or does  Maplewood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
