This season hasn't been kind to The DuPont Tigers, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 51-0 loss at the hands of Glasgow. DuPont was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Glasgow apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.
Glasgow can attribute much of their success to Walter Bess, who rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Glasgow's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. It was a group effort, with three picking up two apiece.
DuPont's loss was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. As for Glasgow, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.
DuPont will be playing at home against St. Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (St. Elizabeth is ranked 34th, while DuPont is ranked 47th). As for Glasgow, they will head out on the road to face off against Dickinson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
