Drew Beane Puts an End to Northview's Losing Streak on Thursday
Northview's 16-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Drew Beane. Beane produced his best game of the campaign on Thursday: he threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown. Those 33 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Northview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Beane and Northview will take on Druid Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Albert Gooding of Lithonia. Gooding rushed for 161 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Lithonia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Gooding and Lithonia will square off against St. Pius X Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
