The College Park Cavaliers stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 67-46 margin over New Caney. The win was nothing new for College Park as they're now sitting on six straight.
Martez James continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Buckmon, who scored 21 points.
College Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. As for New Caney, they now have a losing record at 15-16.
College Park will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Conroe will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 506th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 66th). As for New Caney, they will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Caney Creek is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
