Blythewood is 1-8 against the Bearcats since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Blythewood Bengals will head out on the road to take on the Rock Hill Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Blythewood comes in on four and the Bearcats on 15.
Even though Clover scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, Blythewood still came out on top. Blythewood took their matchup against the Blue Eagles 73-62.
Meanwhile, Rock Hill scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-45 win over Nation Ford on the road. Rock Hill has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for De?Ashaj Crawford, who scored 28 points. Aubrey Stevenson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Blythewood has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Rock Hill, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Things could have been worse for Blythewood, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-36 loss to the Bearcats in their previous meeting back in January. Can Blythewood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
