After flying high against Northwood last Friday, Northwest came back down to earth. The Northwest Jaguars fell 79-69 to the Blake Bengals on Wednesday. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Northwest still got an impressive performance from Anthony Wells, who went 8-for-15 on his way to 18 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Ouattara, who went 6-for-15 en route to 16 points.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Blake, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

As of now, neither Northwest nor Blake have any future games scheduled.
