Meanwhile, Woodgrove scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Rock Ridge and snuck past 83-81. The win was nothing new for Woodgrove as they're now sitting on five straight.
Woodgrove relied on the efforts of Dane Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Colin Fuller, who scored 23 points. Marsh is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Kenny Chicas was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
John Champe has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Woodgrove, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
