It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but McConnellsburg had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Chestnut Ridge Lions. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The final score came out to 25-18, 17-25, 25-16, 25-22.

McConnellsburg has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8-2 record this season. As for Chestnut Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20-5.

Looking ahead, McConnellsburg will challenge Everett at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chestnut Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
