Scotus had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Aquinas Monarchs 49-7 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Settje, who rushed for 185 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries. Settje's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
