That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Dalpe, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Wilson Area always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .875. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Wilson Area has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Salisbury Township, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.
Salisbury Township came up short against Wilson Area in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 8-4. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
