They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 67-24 win over KIPP Navigate College Prep. The victory was just what University Prep Academy needed coming off of a 52-26 loss in their prior contest.
University Prep Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mathias Woodaj led the charge by scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Berhe, who scored 15 points.
University Prep Academy has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for KIPP Navigate College Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University Prep Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Crystal Springs Uplands at 5:30 p.m. on February 10th. The timing is sure in University Prep Academy's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Crystal Springs Uplands has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. KIPP Navigate College Prep will take on Cindy Avitia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
