The result came as a big surprise as the Panthers came in ranked No. 321 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for California, while the Apaches were ranked No. 736.
Vallejo's most effective player was Bracy. The junior wide receiver caught two touchdowns. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
James Hyde-Jr. made a difference for Benicia. The junior wide receiver caught two touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to eight on the year.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which BHS took, 41-6.
The loss comes after Benicia defeated Fairfield 42-0 last week.
Vallejo (2-5) goes up against Vanden in a Solano County game matchup next week, while Benicia (5-2) locks horns with Bethel also in a Solano County game.
