Intrinsic had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against  the Prosser Falcons on Tuesday, falling  14-4.  Joel Diaz was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he  struck out ten batters over  four innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Diaz was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances. He has been hot for a while, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last ten times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Damian Agudo was cooking despite his team's loss,   going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI.
With the  win, Prosser broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.
While Intrinsic had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
