5A Region 6 recap November 13, 2013
Pinson Valley scaled the state rankings by moving to 48 from 88 this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region 6. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of topping Hartselle 23-20.
Jordan lost to Muscle Shoals 55-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Moody's Michael Barron and Terrell Martin led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Barron has thrown for 1,560 yards this season, while Martin has 38 catches for 782 yards. Walker's Marlon Oliver leads the league in rushing yards with 747.
Pinson Valley made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,605 from 2,732. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 23-20 victory over the Tigers last week.
