Logan Brabant tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Pulaski let Brett Schott and Landon Silva run wild. Schott scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Silva scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs Schott has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Braun Wotruba, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Pulaski always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ashwaubenon only posted an OBP of .240.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to Notre Dame Academy.
Sheboygan South's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pulaski, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Sheboygan South's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pulaski has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .483. It's a different story for Sheboygan South, though, as they've only averaged .224. Will they be able to contain Pulaski's hitters?
Pulaski took their win against Sheboygan South in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Red Raiders repeat their success, or do the Redwings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
