Among those leading the charge was Carlese Johnson, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Johnson also scored 15+ points for the first time this season. Destiny Lea was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Rison and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Hermitage, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Rison won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gurdon at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th. Hermitage will be home for the holidays to greet Nevada at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
