On Monday, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] got the win against Knoxville by a conclusive 65-39. With that victory, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] brought their scoring average up to 51.6 points per game.
Ashtin Staley was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points. The contest was Staley's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Vincent, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Monmouth United came tearing into Monday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past Bushnell-Prairie City 44-41.
Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Monmouth United, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
