The Academy at the Lakes Wildcats can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Hernando Christian Academy at home to the tune of 58-15. That 43 points margin sets a new team best for Academy at the Lakes this season.
Despite the defeat, Hernando Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Neaya Richardson scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The win got Academy at the Lakes back to even at 6-6. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy at the Lakes the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Universal Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Universal Academy is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Hernando Christian Academy, Hernando Christian Academy and Lakeside Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
