Omaha Westside has gone 4-0 against Columbus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday.  Omaha Westside is headed out to face Columbus after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Omaha Westside enjoyed a cozy  22-7 win over Omaha North on Thursday. The  victory was familiar territory for the Warriors who have now won 14  games in a row  dating back to last season.
 Omaha Westside can attribute much of their success to   Braylen Warren, who threw for 194 yards and two touchdowns, and   Tay Tay Jenkins, who rushed for 144 yards.
 Omaha Westside wouldn't let Omaha North keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Omaha Westside can thank  Christian Jones and  Ty Sidzyik for forcing both of them. Sidzyik's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  forcing a fumble and making six total tackles.
 Meanwhile, Columbus had to start their season on the road  on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took  a  35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norfolk. The Discoverers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as their  matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Columbus might have lost, but man,  Michael Voichoskie was a machine:  he rushed for 137 yards and four touchdowns.
 Voichoskie wasn't the only one working in the  rushing yards department: Columbus was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 204  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Norfolk only rushed for 107.
 Columbus' defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as  Connor Kallweit,  Laitenn Braithwait, and  Voichoskie picked up one apiece. Kallweit also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 Everything came up roses for Omaha Westside against Columbus in their previous meeting  back in October of 2019 as the  team secured  a  50-0 win. Does  Omaha Westside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Columbus turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
