The Empire Ravens scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 93-45 win over Catalina. Empire has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 27 points or more this season.
Empire got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Donovan Davidson out in front who scored 22 points along with three steals. Davidson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Bronstein, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Empire and bumps their season record up to 15-10. As for Catalina, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Empire will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Thatcher focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Thursday. As for Catalina, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Douglas' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
