On Thursday, Lexington put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 36-15 margin over Community Christian. Lexington were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Lexington's win brought them up to 5-3. The defeat dropped Community Christian's record to 5-3.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Lexington will be playing at home against Crooked Oak at at 7:00 PM next week. Crooked Oak are limping into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Community Christian, they will go up against Washington. Community Christian's defense better steel itself: Washington are averaging 34.75 points per game.
