The biggest upset of the week belonged to Yale, who took down 152nd ranked Richmond, 18-14.
Croswell-Lexington extended the longest winning streak in Blue Water Area this week by beating Armada, 28-13. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
The Tigers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Trevor Holston threw for 123 yards and Tyler Sledz had 38 yards receiving. On the ground Ross Querro chipped in 54 yards. Querro helped Armada's passing attack out by catching four balls for 33 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Holston and Nicolas Burton Armada has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Holston leads the league in passing with 332 yards, while Burton has rushed for 719 yards this season. Algonac's Tyler Banks leads the league in receiving yards with 273 on nine catches.
The Bulldogs moved up to 257 from 288 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Yale was able to make the jump by besting the Blue Devils 18-14.
