Basketball Recap: Hoosic Valley Has No Trouble Against Fort Plain

With a playoff win on the line, Hoosic Valley rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 63-38 margin over the Fort Plain Hilltoppers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their 28-point performance the matchup before.

Several Hilltoppers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Owen Castellano, who posted 14 points. Castellano continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Keane, who had nine points.

Hoosic Valley's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Fort Plain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

As of now, neither Hoosic Valley nor Fort Plain have any future games scheduled.
