They came out on top in a nail-biter against Broome Street Academy and snuck past 63-61. That looming 63-61 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Redemption Christian Academy yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Broome Street Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Andre Wright. Despite the final result, he shot 5-for-9 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine rebounds. Demitrius Gould was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Redemption Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Broome Street Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.
