Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waupaca). They secured a 64-58 W over the Marinette Marines on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Waupaca's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Marinette, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waupaca will take on Oconto Falls in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oconto Falls is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season. Marinette and Denmark will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
