On FridayTaft kept up with Notre Dame (SO) until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Notre Dame (SO) Knights put the hurt on the Taft Toreadors with a sharp 6-1 win. Considering the Knights have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Notre Dame (SO) has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six contests. As for Taft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame (SO) and Grant will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Taft, they will face off against Poly at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
