Tony Palmer Delivers Electric Performance Vs Lincoln Northeast
Starting off the list is South Sioux City's Tony Palmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Palmer rushed for 308 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 69 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 69 yards.
South Sioux City moved to 4-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Palmer and South Sioux City will face off against Buena Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Omaha North picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jaron Cannon. Cannon was unstoppable, rushing for 143 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Bellevue West had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Cannon it was a similar story. When Cannon last faced the Thunderbirds back in August of 2023, he rushed for 162 yards while picking up 10.1 yards per carry.

Keeping Cannon company is Darion Jones, a fellow Omaha North player. He picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown.
