Rabun Gap-Nacoochee is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They will welcome the Christ School Greenies at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They walked away with a 41-28 win over Charlotte Christian. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Lindo, who rushed for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 carries. Another pass catcher making a difference was Joshua Buckhalter, who picked up 64 receiving yards and two TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 304 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's defense stepped up as well, laying out Elliott Newcomb three times. In that department, Segun Alexander was the leader with two sacks. He is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another thorn in Charlotte Christian's side was Praise Chane, who picked up a sack, made seven total tackles, and defended two passes.
Meanwhile, Christ School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Providence Day, falling 71-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Greenies were not able to get on the board.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Christ School, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Everything came up roses for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee against Christ School in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-7 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Greenies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
