Rancho Buena Vista has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Tri-City Christian Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Rancho Buena Vista has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,119 points over their last 15 matches.
Even though Vista scored an imposing 68 points on Friday, Rancho Buena Vista still came out on top. Rancho Buena Vista managed a 74-68 victory over Vista.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rancho Buena Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trent Lotito, who scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cj Aldrich, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Meanwhile, even though Del Lago Academy scored an imposing 55 points on Saturday, Tri-City Christian still came out on top. Tri-City Christian took their contest against Del Lago Academy 67-55. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tri-City Christian.
Rancho Buena Vista has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Tri-City Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
Everything came up roses for Rancho Buena Vista against Tri-City Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 80-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rancho Buena Vista since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
