Adamson extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 2-10. They lost 18-6 to the White Longhorns. That's two games in a row now that the Leopards have lost by exactly 12 runs.
Veronica Lopez and Liliy Beall Diaz stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lopez went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Beall Diaz went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was Beall Diaz's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
As for White, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-15-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by ten runs or more this season.
On White's side, Aileen Hernadez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Hernadez has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, TJ Alvarado was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Audrey Richardson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
