For the first time this season, Bandys will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will head out on the road to challenge the West Lincoln Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Bandys is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
On Friday, Bandys didn't have quite enough to beat North Lincoln and fell 4-3.
Piper Barrymore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Bandys saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Alexander, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. What's more, Alexander posted two hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
West Lincoln's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to East Lincoln on Friday. West Lincoln blew past Burns 16-6.
Stacia Cowan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Cowan was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Kaitlyn Carpenter was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaylin Pardo, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
West Lincoln kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
West Lincoln now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bandys, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Bandys skirted past West Lincoln 4-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bandys since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
