Dan River had won two straight games and Jameer Reynolds did his part to make it three on Monday. The Dan River Wildcats came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-48 W against the Chatham Cavaliers thanks in part to Reynolds, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. The match was his 11th in a row with at least 16 points.

Jamir Edmonds was another key player, putting up ten points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Chatham still got an impressive performance from Brenden Hedrick, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds.

Dan River pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Chatham, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Dan River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-48 defeat against Appomattox County on the 18th. As for Chatham, they have also already played their next contest, a 71-55 win against Altavista on the 18th.
