Things haven't been easy for Beaver, and their matchup on Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were dealt a punishing 16-55 loss at the hands of Texhoma. The state rankings had actually given Beaver a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Beaver are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7. The victory bumped Texhoma's record up to 4-3.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Beaver take on Fairview at 7:00 PM. Texhoma will be playing at home against Okeene at at 7:00 PM. Texhoma are catching Okeene at a good time: Okeene have scored fewer and fewer points over their past three games.
